Frequently Asked Questions

Does your security company have insurance?

Yes, we have $3,000,000 liability insurance, $1,000,000 per occurrence. We are also bonded, as regulated by the New Hampshire Department of Safety. This protects your business from legal liabilities, because in the event of an incident, we will assume the legal liability, rather than you or your company (this may avoid an expensive lawsuit). This also potentially protects your company's reputation, since the public and any media involvement will be referred directly to us.

How long of a contract is required?

We offer long-term and short-term contracts. If you only need us temporarily, we also have no contract/commitment options. So, if it happens that you don't deem security as necessary on your premises anymore at any given point, we make it very easy to cancel.

How quickly can you start service?

We can start security services as soon as you tell us to begin, on the same day if needed. We realize that in our business our clients need immediate peace of mind. Therefore, we are here to help in any way we can so you can get back to your business as soon as possible.

What type of pre-employment screening does Act Right Security use?

Our pre-employment screening process includes:

  • State registration and certification
  • Personal reference check
  • Criminal court history
  • Civil court history
  • Motor vehicle report
  • Drug testing
What are some benefits of hiring a security company?

Security officers deter and prevent crimes before they happen as well as respond swiftly in case of emergencies. Some benefits include, but are not limited to:

  • Saving money
Setting up your own security services at your business can be incredibly costly. You will spend less money by hiring a security company. For more information on in-house security vs. contract security, click here. Hiring a security company is also much less expensive than hiring your local police department for a security detail.
  • Easier administration
The security company handles all the administration issues, such as hiring, training, scheduling, and other aspects that can be very time consuming and often complicated.
  • Flexibility
By hiring a security company, you’re able to use exactly the number of security officers you need at any given time and this number can change depending on the circumstances.
  • Expertise
Security roles are complex and quite involved. Rather than having to start from scratch, and build an entire security system and/or team yourself, hiring a security company makes it possible for you to have an experienced and effective team working at your site from day one.
